农民增收是事关我国城乡协同发展、推动并实现共同富裕的重大经济问题。在“乡村振兴、交通先行”的政策背景下,文章使用上海财经大学“千村调查”以及OpenStreetMap数据考察了高速公路对农村家庭收入的影响。结果发现,高速公路对农村家庭收入有显著提升作用,且这一结论在一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。机制分析表明,高速公路提高了沿线地区非农产业发展水平和其他基础设施的配套水平,进而带来了农村家庭增收。异质性分析发现,高速公路增收效应主要来自工资性收入,这一结论从侧面验证了高速公路促进非农产业发展的作用机制。此外,由于我国农村往往具有劳动力过剩特征,且非农产业发展存在规模经济,因此村庄人口规模越大,高速公路的增收效应越明显。最后,高速公路对低收入家庭、中西部地区家庭的增收作用更为明显,这表明高速公路可降低农村地区的相对贫困和促进区域间农村协调发展。文章的政策含义在于,为进一步巩固扶贫成果、促进乡村振兴和实现共同富裕,提升交通基础设施可达性是一个可行策略。
