通用人力资本指个体拥有的一组知识、技能和能力,具有高度的可转移性和广泛的适用性。尽管通用人力资本是制造企业服务化转型的重要战略资源,但是现有文献尚未探讨制造企业中是否存在与通用人力资本相关的 “服务化悖论”问题。本文选取A股上市制造企业为研究样本,探究服务型制造与通用人力资本之间的内在关联。研究发现,服务型制造能够显著推动通用人力资本升级,其作用机制与路径体现为效率工资效应、规模经济效应和 ESG 优势效应。异质性分析显示,服务型制造对通用人力资本升级的促进作用在非高新技术企业以及处于成长期和成熟期的企业中更为显著;从行业要素密集度来看,服务型制造对通用人力资本的影响不存在显著差异;就服务型制造类型而言,嵌入型服务可以显著促进通用人力资本升级,而混入型服务的作用则不明显。本文的研究结论不仅有助于深化对服务型制造微观经济后果的理解,也为制造企业通过提升通用人力资本获取竞争优势提供了理论依据和实践指导。
