本文首先对芒德尔的主要经济思想进行了总结，分析了不同汇率体制下的财政与货币政策效应及最优货币区理论，重点讨论了其理论的应用、欧元区的形成与东亚金融危机，指出欧元区形成的重要原因及其对国际货币体系与区域经济稳定的影响。
