双元性研究旨在探讨如何管理组织中探索和开发活动的张力,管理者双元性是当前该研究领域的一个热点话题。本文首先剖析了管理者双元性的内涵,厘清了个体层面探索和开发活动的关系,将管理者双元性特征归纳为“均衡”“切换”和“协同”三个方面。其次,对管理者双元性的测量方式进行了总结和分析。再次,梳理了管理者双元性的前因并对这些前因和管理者双元性三种特征的关系进行了分析,然后梳理了管理者双元性对管理者自身及下属的各种积极和消极影响。最后,针对现有研究的不足,从测量方式、前因研究、影响效应研究以及管理层级和职能细分四个方面对未来研究进行了展望。
