我国经济的快速增长带来了严峻的环境问题,对环境的保护和治理要求企业履行环境责任,进行生态创新。文章研究发现:产品市场竞争与管理者道德认知是影响企业生态创新的重要因素。不同性质的市场竞争对生态创新的影响作用存在明显差异,市场竞争与企业生态创新水平之间呈倒U形的二次曲线关系。管理者道德认知能够促进企业生态创新,但这一正向促进作用对外部市场竞争情境是条件依存的。当企业具有寡头垄断势力、进行生态创新的意愿不足时,管理者的道德良心能够驱使企业扩大生态创新的支出;但是当企业面临(或接近)完全竞争市场,激烈竞争导致企业内部资源不足时,管理者道德认知在促进生态创新方面无能为力。这一研究结论能够为政府部门提供决策依据,有助于引导企业生态创新实践,对于促进企业清洁生产、保护生态环境具有积极作用。
