勇敢追随行为是指追随者为达到辅佐领导共同实现组织目标但又不违背良知的目的,与领导者建立密切互动的关系,并采取主动负责、勇于服务、勇于挑战、勇于变革和采取道德行为(离开)等一系列行为,对组织成功以及监督、规范和约束不良领导力起助推作用。本文梳理了1995—2018年国外勇敢追随行为实证研究脉络,从哲学、心理学、组织行为学视角,构建了勇敢追随行为路径,对勇敢追随行为的前因和结果变量进行了推理,对勇敢追随行为的两面性、适应性和跨文化适用性等问题的研究前景进行了展望。勇敢追随行为的实证研究,是对职场勇敢行为研究的拓展和追随力研究领域的丰富;勇敢追随行为的理论发展,对组织成员的职业发展和组织预测、选拔和培养勇敢追随者具有指导意义。
